Recommend Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System For Truck Camper Shell w/ Carpeted Ceiling

I love this product. I have a 2005 ford ranger truck with a camper shell that has a carpeted ceiling. I am looking for an adjustable track system style roof rack. This one looks prefect except for one problem. The product description says works on roofs without headliners. Does carpet on the ceiling of my shell count as a headliner? Will this product work for me? Thanks

I do have a roof rack system that will work on the camper shell on your 2005 Ford Ranger, but you will not be able to use the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Track Mount, part # Y06-560.

The representative at Rhino Rack informed me that you would need to piece together a rack to use on your camper shell with carpeted ceiling. First you will need the Rhino-Rack RT-Style Roof Rack Tracks, part # RT16. This track system attaches to your camper with rivets. You will need to order a quantity of 2 of part # RT16, to have 2 crossbars on your camper. Then, you will need to use Legs for Rhino-Rack RT-Style Roof Rack, part # RLT500. To complete your roof rack, you will need crossbars like the, Rhino-Rack Aero Crossbar, part # RAB1500S. You will need to order a quantity of 2 of the Aero Crossbar.
