For a brake controller, I would recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885. The P2 is our best selling controller, because it is so easy to set up and use.

To install the controller on your 2007 FJ, you would need the Brake Controller Install Kit, part # ETBC6 if a 6-way connector is needed, or ETBC7 for a 7-way connector. The kit contains everything needed to install a controller, including the trailer connector, circuit breakers, wire and hardware, even the zip ties.
