Sonoma 2003 pick-up clamp on tonal cover, will the carrier truck bed rack work without damaging the rails.

The Topline 2 Bike Carrier, # UG2500-4, is designed to clamp around the bed side rail and would most likely not work with a clamp on style tonneau cover, like the LiteRider Roll-Up Tonneau Cover by Access, # 834532001088. It will depend on the style of clamp on rail that your tonneau uses. I attached a photo showing the style of clamp on rail that the LiteRider Roll-Up tonneau uses, see link.
Another option for carrying bikes in the bed of your truck would be the Softride Tailgate Pad Bicycle Transporter, # SR26461. One of our associates uses this style of carrier in his S-10 pickup and it works well. We have a video review of this item for you to check out also, see link.
