Question:
i live in utah and i have a 2008 dodge mega cab 6.7L diesel and i need to know do i have to have the muffler on the exhaust for emitions or any other reason thanks

You will need to check with your local emission laws and regulations to determine if it is legal to use an exhaust system on your 2008 Dodge Mega Cab with a 6.7 liter diesel engine in your area. Some states do not require mufflers on diesel trucks and others do.
Aside from the legal aspect of it, you would gain power and fuel efficiency by making your exhaust as nonrestrictive as possible.
