Yes, the Rightline CampRight SUV Tent, part # RL110910, will stand alone without being attached to the vehicle. The tent is actually designed so that you can detach your vehicle from the tent and leave the tent setup, in the event you need to drive somewhere. You would just follow the instructions on setup before it goes into how to attach the tent to the vehicle.
