Will the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch - 36234 fit a 2001 Subaru Legacy wagon?

We do have trailer hitches that will fit your 2001 Subaru Legacy Wagon, but hitch # 36234 is not one of them.
Instead, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 36284, will fit a 2001 Subaru Legacy Wagon. I have included a link to the installation instructions along with a video showing a typical installation on a similar vehicle.
If you plan on doing some towing with the hitch, the recommended ball mount is # 36061, and it should be used in the rise position only. For a pin and clip, use # PC2. For a ball, you can use # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter0 or # 19258 (2 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, use # 119176KIT. I have included a link to the installation details and a video showing a typical installation for you to view.
