Question:
I have a 2007 silverado classic and the 47795 wiring adapter only shows to 2006. Also, this is the part you recommend for my 2007 classic. What I need to know.... Is the red wire location the same for my 2007 silverado as the 2006 pin location? Please let me know. Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The pin-out of the brake controller wiring adapter is identical from the 2006 to the 2007 Classic models. You can verify this by plugging the adapter only into the connector under the dash. This can easily be confirmed by using a circuit tester like part # 3808. Test the pin that corresponds with the red wire while pressing on the brake pedal. The red wire should show power.
