Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for a Hyundai Tucson

Question:

I was wondering if this rack would be suitable for a Hyundai Tucson. I cant lift the bike to the roof nor do I have a hitch to get a rack that hooks on there. Please help!

According to Yakima, the QuickBack 2, # Y02621, will only fit the 2005 to 2009 Hyundai Tucson. If you have a 2010 to 2012, it will not fit. I have included a link to the installation details and a video review of this rack for you to view.

Another option, if you have any year from 2005 to 2011, is the Thule Raceway 2 , # TH9001. This is one of the easiest bike racks to put on and take off of a vehicle. It uses ratcheting cables rather than flat straps like other bike racks. This rack is also very light weight at under 12 pounds. I have included a link to the installation details and a video review for this rack as well.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across from handle bars to seat post, I recommend adding the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT, to carry the bikes more level. I have included a video of this adapter also.
