Removing OEM Suspension Bump Stops on 2011 Chevy Silverado to Install Timbren Suspension Enhancement

Removing OEM Suspension Bump Stops on 2011 Chevy Silverado to Install Timbren Suspension Enhancement

Question:

I cant seem to be able to pry the factory bump stops out of their mounting cups. Is there a technique to doing this

asked by: Maurice D

Expert Reply:

I have spoken with one of my contacts at Timbren, who tells me that the bump stop can be removed with a pair of channel lock-type pliers. Grasp the bump stop with the pliers and pull down on it while twisting back and forth.

In case you do not have them handy, I have provided a link to the install instructions.
