Question:
HOW WELL DOES THIS WORK ON A 2011 JEEP WRANGLER 4DR RUBICOM FOR TOWING WITH A ROADMASTER EVAN BRAKE?

The Tow Ready Battery Isolation Solenoid, # TR118665, will be installed on the vehicle that is doing the towing. If you are flat towing the 2011 Jeep Wrangler, then the battery isolator will be installed on the vehicle that is towing it. If the Wrangler is doing the towing, it will installed in the Wrangler.
The isolator works well. We have not had any comments that would indicate poor performance. It is a very simple design. One line goes in from the vehicle battery to one of the side terminals, another line goes out to the 12 volt accessory that needs power. The center terminal gets connected to a 12 volt ignition source.
If the isolator was installed on the vehicle being towed and connected to the supplemental braking system, like Even Brake, # RM-9400, the braking unit would not have power unless the ignition was on in the towed vehicle.
The Even Brake needs a constant 12 volt power source and you will connect the red wire from the ICX transmitter to the cold side of any fuse with a continuous source of power. Unless the red (power) wire is connected to a fuse that provides 12 VDC+ at all times, the motorhome monitor will display error messages relating to low battery power, such as Low Battery, when towing.
