Question:
What wiring kit do I need to buy to wire my 2001 Saturn SL1? I do not have room to add the additional lamp with the Pig Tails. I need to use the OEM system. Thanks

The 2001 Saturn SL1 uses turn signals that are separate from the brake lights. There are to ways you can wire the vehicle. First, you can wire it so that when connected to the motor home, the turn signals and brake lights will be combined. Or, you can wire it to retain the separate functions. The second method requires a few more parts.
For either method, you will start with Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, # RM-154. A wiring diagram is included after the description on the product page and I have also included a link to an FAQ article and a video showing a typical installation that should help.
For the second method, you will need 2 additional diodes, # RM-792, and a tail light converter, # 118158. The FAQ article shows a diagram for this method as well.
