Question:
It stopped working. It will not light up. What could be wrong with it and what can I do about it. I do not have the box anymore, bought it 2 1/2 years ago, so do not have any warranty information.

I contacted our representative at Tekonsha about the problem you are having with the Prodigy Brake Controller # 90185. What you can do is do a few tests to determine if there is a bad connection to the brake controller or if the brake controller needs to be replaced.
First, you can try to use the manual lever. Try sliding the manual lever to the left to see if the brake controller will light up.
Next, you will want to make sure that there is a good power and ground connection to the brake controller.
The last thing you can try is to unplug the Prodigy controller and then plug it back in. This will reset the brake controller.
If the above tests do not work, the brake controller will need to be replaced. The Prodigy # 90185 has a lifetime warranty.
