Rack with 4 Bike Capacity Needed for Rear of a Salem RV

Question:

My parents just purchased a Salem trailer and would like to atttatch 4 bicycles to it. Is there a bike rack you recommend for the back or front of trailer? I do know they have a ladder and spare tire on rear of trailer.

We do offer bike racks that can utilize the ladder on the rear of the trailer, like the Swagman RV and Motorhome 2 Bike Carrier, part # S80630. Unfortunately, these racks only have a two bike capacity.

Depending on the size and construction of the rear bumper, a bumper mounted receiver like the Swagman part # S64025 would be a good option for a 4 x 4 inch continuous-welded steel bumpers. This receiver is not compatible with aluminum or spot-welded steel bumpers. Using a bolt on receiver would then allow you to use a 4 bike carrier like the Swagman Original, part # S64400. This rack is the largest capacity bike carrier offered that is specifically designed for use on the rear of a trailer.

The Swagman 4 Bike Carrier you referenced, part # S80600 would also be a good choice if the bumper on the RV is between 4 and 4-1/2 inches square and is continuously welded steel. Straps or cords for attaching the bikes to the rack are not included.
