Does grill No. BG-163 require cutting or removing the original equipment. If not, how does it fit over the middle horizontal bar to which the Chevy logo is attached on a Chevy 3500 HD grille?

I spoke with my contact at Pilot and he informed me that this Bully Bolt-On Vertical Billet Aluminum Grille, # BG-163, will install onto your 2009 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD without permanently modifying anything.
Basically, bolts will run from the # BG-163 through your factory grille to brackets on the other side of your it that will hold the aftermarket grille to your factory grille. The # BG-163 is shaped in such a way that it will fit around the Chevy logo and horizontal bar of your grille so that it will fit without interference.
