Hi there, i was wondering if this valley tow hitch will fit on the 2009 Toyota Venza, it only specifies 2011. Does it require lowering of exhaust? Thanks.

The Valley Trailer Hitch, # V82301, will fit the 2009 to 2011 Toyota Venza. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view. There is no mention of having to lower the exhaust on the vehicle for hitch installation. But, you may find that lowering the exhaust will make installation much easier.
There are numerous hitches available for your 2009 Venza. I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75663, because it is one of the more popular hitches for your vehicle. I have included a link to the installation instructions and a video showing a typical installation for you to view.
If you plan to do some towing, the recommended ball mount is # 2923 and you can use pin and clip # PC3. For a ball, use # 19260 (1-7/8 inch diameter), # 19247 (2 inch diameter), or # 19287 (2-5/16 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, use # 118482. I have included links to the installation details and a video showing a typical installation of the wiring harness.
