Yes, your 2009 Hyundai Elantra will be able to support a 2-bike hitch mounted rack. But, you will be limited to a bike rack that is compatible with a 1-1/4 Class I hitch since all of the hitches available for your vehicle are Class I 1-1/4.

If you do not already have a hitch for your vehicle, I would recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 24795.

The item you selected Swagman Trailhead 2 Bike Carrier, part # S63360 would be a good option for a bike rack as it is compatible with Class I 1-1/4 hitches. This bike rack will also fit 2 inch hitches.
