Trunk Mount 3 Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2011 Ford Explorer

I have a new explorer and 3 mountain bikes. No hitch. Which of the 3 bike racks do you recommend. I really need to make sure it doesnt scratch up the car as its on a lease.

There is a trunk mount bike rack that will fit a 2011 Ford Explorer, but # TH9002 will not fit. Instead, take a look at the Yakima KingJoe Pro 3, # Y02625. Yakima has listed this bike rack as a fit for your vehicle. No worries about scratches with this rack, it features deluxe pads on the base which protect your vehicle paint from scratches and abrasions. When carrying 3 bikes the capacity is 90 pounds.

You could also use the QuickBack 3, # Y02622. This rack also has padded feet to protect the vehicle paint. The unique design fits many vehicles, including the 2011 Explorer. For either rack, if you will be carrying alternative frame bikes that have a top tube that is not straight across, I recommend the Tube Top Adapter Bar, # Y02531, so the bikes will be more level on the carrier.
