The spacing of leaf springs varies depending on how many axles are on your trailer and the position of the spring. For a 3 leaf, 1,750 lb spring like part # PR3 the hanger specifications in the Redline Trailer Supplies Catalog are as follows:

Single axle - 25-3/4 inches
Tandem axle - A=29-1/2 - B=29-1/2
Triple axle - A=29-1/2 - B=34 - C=29-1/2

The recommended hanger kit for a single axle trailer is Single Axle Trailer Hanger Kit, part # APS1, or part # APS4. For tandem axle, the recommended kit is part # APT1, and for triple axle trailers, part # APTT1 is recommended.

You will want to setup the hangers so that you will have proper tongue weight once the trailer is complete, which is usually 60 percent of the trailer weight forward of the center of the axle setup.

I have linked an FAQ on trailer suspension that you may find as a good reference.
