Question:
I just bought a used 6x12 covered Cargo trailer and I would like to install E-Track on two sides. By design they have built in a 3/4 piece of plywood 4 wide at the right level, but horizontal E-Track is 5 wide. Can I use the vertal E-Track on the horizontal as it would fit? Pros and cons and any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Thank you,

My contact at Erickson confirmed that you are definitely able to use the Vertical E-Track # E19146 in the horizontal position.
The advantage for you is that it will mount to the space you need it to fit. The only disadvantage of using the Vertical Track # E19146 is that there are less anchor points to hook into than the Horizontal E-Track, part # EM59150.
To connect straps to the E-Track, you will need to use E-Track 2 Inch D-Ring, part # E59143.
I have linked a video review of the D-ring for you to review.
