I contacted our representative at Roadmaster about which base plate kit you will need for your 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with Warn bumper and winch. The representative at Roadmaster informed me that the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, part # 1424-1, should fit your 2004 Jeep Wrangler with Warn bumper and winch. Part # 1424-1 attaches to the frame rails of your Jeep and should not interfere with the bumper or winch.

In addition to a base plate kit, you will need a tow bar, safety cables, wiring or lighting, and a supplemental braking system to complete your flat-towing setup.

The tow bar that I would recommend is the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar, part # RM-522, which is non-binding tow bar. A non-binding tow bar makes for easier hook up and disconnecting of your Jeep.

For safety cables, you will need the Roadmaster 64 Inch Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables, part # RM-643. Safety cables will keep your Jeep Wrangler attached to your motor home if your tow bar were to disconnect from the hitch ball.

For lighting solution, you could use the Magnetic Towing Light Kit, part # C-ATL20A. If you are going to be towing your Jeep often, I would recommend the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, part # RM-154 as it would just plug into your vehicle each time you tow.

Most states require that you use a supplemental brake system when flat-towing a vehicle. I would recommend Roadmaster 9700 Portable Braking System, part # RM-9700, which will help reduce wear your motor home brakes and help you slow down.

Before towing your Jeep, you will want to contact your Jeep dealership for specific steps needed to take when flat-towing. Some vehicles must be equipped with a transmission lube pump, axle disconnect or free-wheeling hubs before being towed.
