My 2005 nissan frontier crew cab did not come with factory tow package is this still the wiring harness I need to add on tow wiring?

Since your 2005 Nissan Frontier did not come with a tow package, I recommend the Upgraded Circuit Protected Modulite with 4 Pole Harness and Hardwire Kit, # 119176KIT. This is a circuit protected converter that draws most of the power needed by the trailer from the vehicle battery rather than through the tail light wiring.
