i have a gm z82 jumper to connect to a 03 envoy, to a pilot brake controller. What color goes to what color?

I can tell you that on the Pilot 2-6 Brake Electronic Brake Controller, # 80550, the white wire is ground, the black wire is 12 volt power, the blue wire is brake output, and the red wire is for the stop light circuit on the brake switch.
Vehicle manufacturer wiring colors can vary from year to year and even among vehicles in the same model year. However, it is possible that on your 2003 GMC Envoy, the Dark Blue wire would be for brake output, the Red wire would be for 12 volt power, the light blue wire would be for the stop light circuit, and the black wire would be the ground.
I recommend using a circuit tester like # 3808 to verify the function of the wires before making any connections.
