Do Tow Hooks Need to be Removed When Installing Black Powder Coated Light Bar NL-104B

do i have to remove the hooks or do they stay?

Expert Reply:

I spoke with my contact at Pilot and he stated that when installing the Black Powder Coated Stainless Steel Light Bar, # NL-104B, if tow hooks are present on the vehicle they must be removed for installation and they cannot be be reinstalled unless the bar is removed.

This light bar fits the following vehicles:

2003 - 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and 2500 LD Series
2003 - 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 HD Series
2005 - 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Series

We also have a Stainless Steel Version, part # NL-104.
