Question:
I am looking for mounting hardware to attach the Summit cargo box to the roof racks on my 2008 Toyota 4-Runner. Are the U-bolts wide enough to fit around the rack or is there completely new hardware available? Thanks

The hardware that is used by the Thule Summit cargo box was actually an earlier version of the QM3 Hardware, # TH04997, that you have referenced. I did speak with my contact at Thule and she stated that you can retro-fit the EasySnap Mounting Kit, # TH05820, to he box but it will be a tight fit. As long as the crossbars on your 2008 Toyota 4Runner are less than 3-1/4 inches thick and under 2 inches tall then this kit will fit the crossbars.
