You will need to check your owners manual, or with the Chrysler dealer to determine the towing capacity of your 2005 Dodge Caravan. Once you know the capacity of the vehicle you will need to find a camper that weighs less than the vehicles maximum towing capacity, when fully loaded, to safely tow the trailer.

If you need a hitch for your Caravan, I would recommend the Hidden Hitch Class III Trailer Hitch, item # 87717, if your vehicle does not have stow-n-go seating. If you do have stow-n-go seating I would recommend the Hidden Hitch Class III Trailer Hitch, item # 87719.
