Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2006 Saturn Vue - Video

Question:

Hi, I dont know a thing about hitches. I own a Saturn Vue, V6, FWD. I will be moving from Chicago to Boston and will require to get a trailer to hook up to the back of my car. It will be probably 800-1000 pounds of items a studio of boxes and a queen mattress My questions are: 1 What exactly do I need, all of the parts, etc. I am trying to figure out the total cost and what I need to purchase. 2 Will I be able to install it myself?

I would recommend that you purchase the following parts to tow with your 2006 Saturn Vue.

1. Hidden Hitch Class III 2 Inch Hitch, part # 87572.
2. Draw-Tite Ball Mount, part # 2923, and Pin and Clip, part # PC3.
3. T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118418.
4. Tow Ready 2 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19247.

With these items, you will be all set to tow a trailer. This is a pretty easy hitch to install. Most of our customer do the installation themselves.
