We have numerous trailer hitches designed to fit the 1976 Ford F-250. I have included a link to the available options for you to view. I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 40050 (note: this hitch will not fit if the truck has a roll pan bumper). I have included a link to the installation details for reference.

To complete your towing set up, the recommended ball mount is # 2753 and the pin and clip is # PC3. For a ball you can use # 19260 (1-7/8 inch diameter), # 19247 (2 inch diameter), or # 19287 (2-5/16 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, you would need 4-Pole Hardwire Kit Including Circuit Tester, # 18252. I have included a link to a video showing a typical installation of this wiring harness.

Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75022, is designed for 1985 - 1994 Chevrolet Astro Standard Body and 1985 - 1994 GMC Safari Standard Body vans. Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75031, is designed for 1984 - 1995 Toyota Pickup, All Models except T-100. Neither would be the correct fit for your vehicle.
