Trunk Mounted 2 Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2011 Honda Fit

There are actually several options for carrying bikes on the 2011 Honda Fit. I recently helped someone choose a bike rack for the same vehicle. One option is to use a trunk mounted bike rack. According to Thule, there are several trunk mount bike rack options that will fit the 2011 Honda Fit. The two bike racks from Thule that will fit include the following:

Raceway 2, # TH9001
Passage 2, # TH910XT
Speedway 2, # TH961XT

If you ever plan on doing any sort of towing, then installing a trailer hitch, like # 11064, would be the way to go. There are numerous bike racks that will work with a class I, 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch.

For this set up, I recommend the Kuat Beta, # B202-114, because it is so light weight at under 13 pounds, that it will produce much less strain on the class I trailer hitch. When using the CURT trailer hitch and a non-trailer load, a stabilization strap, # 18050, is required for CURTs warranty requirements.
