There is a hole at the back of the shelf bracket in the Rackem Shelf Kit for Enclosed Cargo Trailers, item # RA-24. See photo at right. This hole goes all of the way through the bracket and a bolt and nut or other hardware can be used to secure wooden shelves to the brackets. At the front of the bracket there is a hook that secures the shelf front to back and up and down.
If the shelf is situated between two walls or other items them attachment hardware would not be needed.
I would recommend countersinking the head of any hardware used so items placed on the shelves do not get marred.
