Will the Thule Ascent 1700 Roof Cargo Box # TH605 Fit on a 2008 and 2010 Lexus RX350

Question:

will the ascent 1700 fit a 2008 and 2010 Lexus RX350 and not inter fear with the rear hatch. also I have 16 inch clearance from my factory installed cross bars to the top of my garage door opening. Will it fit in the garage?

I checked with Thule and the Thule Ascent 1700 Roof Mounted Black Cargo Box, part # TH605, will fit on both your 2008 and 2010 Lexus RX 350.

This box has a height of 15-11/16 inches, and since you only have 16 inches of clearance this will be a very tight fit. If you were to buy this box I would recommend that you take it off of your RX350 before you drive into your garage.

If you decided to try and pull in to your garage with the box attached to your roof I would recommend that you go very slowly and avoid hitting the brakes harshly so the suspension does not unload and cause the box to hit your garage.
