Question:
I have a 2008 Chey. 2500 H.D.Silverado with factory integrated electric brake controler tow package and 5th wheel pre-wiring. I want to install a 7 way flat pin plug in the truck bed that will match the 5th wheel R.V. trailer Plug. What hardware do I need?

I would recommend the Draw-Tite Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness, part # 20110. Installation is pretty simple, as the harness would plug inline into the existing wiring harness behind the trailer connector on the rear bumper.
This product allows you to continue using the connector on the rear of the truck, as well a providing one in the truck bed for your fifth wheel.
I would also recommend using dielectric grease, part # 11755 on your connections. Dielectric grease does a great job of keeping moisture and corrosion from electrical connections.
To view an install video, click on the provided link. The video shows the harness being installed on a different vehicle, but the procedure would be similar in your case.
