The Oldenkamp Trailer Hitch Mounted Motorcycle Carrier, item # RHMC1SV, is designed for transporting motorcycles when moving them long distances. You should remove the chain on your Kawasaki to prevent damage to it or the transmission.
You will want to make sure that you are very careful if you need to back when the motorcycle is attached to the vehicle. Very short trailing items like your motorcycle or a very small trailer can jackknife very easily.
To avoid towing something you could use a motorcycle carrier like the Rage PowerSport Motorcycle Carrier, item # SMC600. This carrier can be used as long as your motorcycle does not weigh over 500 pounds and your vehicle and hitch have a tongue weight capacity of 500 pounds or more. You can find the hitch weight capacity on the hitch usually and the vehicle capacities in the owners manual.
