Question:
2001 Ford F 250 Super Duty 7.3 diesel if it matters I have the factory installed 7-way and 4-way . Would this part #118243 plug into the factory wiring harness and replace both the 7-way and 4-way female ends in the factory installed bracket?

According to the installation details, linked below, if you install the Ford Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring Harness, 7-Way (Super Duty), # 118243, on your 2001 Ford F-250 Super Duty, the 4-Way will no longer be functional.
You would then install the Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket, # HM40975, to have both a 7-Way and a 4-Way flat that will both be functional.
