What Are the Dimensions of Thule Replacement U-Bolt, # TH02943

Question:

I need to get u-bolts for my Sportrack Car-Go cargo box. The holes I need to use have a 4 or 3.5 spacing to get around my cross bar stock Volvo XC90. The 3 I have now wont work. Also will the knobs work with the replacement bolts? Thx.

I went out to the warehouse and measured a Replacement U-Bolt, # TH02943. The center to center distance between each end of the u-bolt is 4 inches. It is 2 inches deep in the center. The cross bars on your Volvo XC90 would have to be smaller than those dimensions in order for these u-bolts to fit.

The Car-Go cargo box is not made anymore so I cannot test this u-bolt with the knobs it used. But I can tell you that this u-bolt uses an M6 (6mm) knob like # 753-0783.
