For your 2011 Ford Fiesta, you will need several items to complete a flat towing setup. The first item will be a base plate kit. The Roadmaster EZ2 Base Plate Kit, item # 524425-1 is the correct kit for the 2011 Fiesta.

You will then need a tow bar to attach to the base plates on the Fiesta and to the Bounder. If your motor home has a receiver hitch, I would recommend the RoadMaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar, item # RM-520. If you have a hitch ball on the back of your RV, I would recommend RoadMaster Tracker Tow Bar, item # RM-020, which will also require a Roadmaster Tow Bar Quick Disconnect Kit, item # RM-201, to remove the tow bar from the base plates easily. You will also need the RoadMaster Release Tool, item # RM-066, to provide the necessary leverage to release the towbar to disconnect the vehicle when parking on uneven ground in campsites and elsewhere.

Next, you will need safety cables. The RoadMaster 68 inch Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables, item # RM-643, would be a good choice. The coiled cables will keep them from getting damaged from contact with the road when towing.

If your 2011 Ford Fiesta is an automatic you will need to disconnect the vehicles battery when flat towing. If the vehicle is a manual transmission the battery will not have to be disconnected.

Finally, you will need tow lighting for the Fiesta. There are Three options. The easiest for infrequent towing is the E-Z Mount Tow Light Kit, item # EZT20B.

The second option would be to use diodes to ta into the vehicle tail light system. If you will be towing frequently, you may want to consider this option which requires wiring the Fiesta permanently for towing, so you can just plug and go without routing wires each time. The Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, item # RM-154, will install inline with the vehicles tail light wiring. We have a video installation for you to review and an article explaining how to wire the vehicle.

The third option involves permanently running wires on the vehicle, but does not require splicing into the vehicle tail light circuits. The RoadMaster Tail Light Wiring Kit with Bulbs, item # RM-155, will fit in the red tail light housing on your vehicle and provide functioning tail lights when towing. A 1 inch hole will need to be drilled in the tail light housing to install the bulbs. We have the hole saw, item # 1936 and arbor, item # 1937, needed to complete this installation.

You will also need to check your owners manual or with the Ford dealer to determine if any other items are needed to flat tow your Fiesta. I checked with my contacts and there is conflicting information about the parts needed to tow your vehicle.
