How Will The Westin Tube Steps # 21-2315 Attach To A 2009 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad Cab
Question:
Already purchased one set of steps from a different company turned out to not be the right size. I have a 2009, Dodge Quad Cab 3500. Are these the correct ones? Do they bolt up without drilling? How/where do they attach? To the frame? Thank you in advance.

The Westin Tube Steps # 21-2315 will fit your 2009 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad Cab. There is no drilling required. It will bolt to the factory mounting locations for running boards, located inside the driver side rocker panel, underneath the vehicle. The factory mounting locations on your vehicle will be covered with pieces of tape that must be removed for installation.
There is also a support strap that will attach to the front of the tube step and attach to body/frame mount bolts on the front and rear. This will give the tube step added support.
I am including a video link of Westin Step bars being installed on a 2008 Dodge Ram Crew Cab. It would be similar to the installation on your vehicle.
