Question:
My 2001 Sportsman 500 HO fits really tight in the back of my Tundra 2010 matter of 1 inch to spare. Will this support and the economy winch extend the size of the 4 wheeler? If it wont and I wont have to take the winch off every time I take the 4wheeler on the truck, than Ill buy it right away - I would hate to have to return it - an actual photo of the ATV with the mount and the winch would be useful. Will it work with the current front rack/front bumper? Thanks.

I do have an alternative solution you may be interested in that will allow you to install a winch on your 2001 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO. You could add a bed extender to your 2010 Toyota Tundra which will allow you to keep the tailgate down for extra space. We have 2 models available for the 2010 Tundra.
First is the Topline Bed Extender, # BX4004-01. This extender is silver and made from aluminum and nylon. We also have this model in black, # BX4004-02.
I did some research on your 2001 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO. From the numerous images I saw, I have determined that adding the Superwinch ATV Winch Custom Mounting Kit, # 2202385, and a compatible winch will most likely extend the length of the ATV. Many of the Polaris ATVs, like the Sportsman, have the distinctive flat face front end. Even if an accessory like a winch can be recessed inward, it will still protrude somewhat from the front of the ATV.
