What is the Battery Charge Level at Green, Yellow, or Red Lights on the CTEK Indicator # CTEK56384

Question:

I need to find out when teh light turns from green to yellow and from yellow to red. We want to add the health indicator to a machine that we build for long term use. We need to be able to tell the customer how much charge they still have in the system when the lights change color.

Expert Reply:

I can certainly help you out. On the CTEK Comfort Indicator, # CTEK56384, a green light means that the battery does not need to be charged because it has an 80 percent or greater charge. The yellow light means the battery should be charged as the charge is between 60 and 79 percent. The red light means the battery will have to be charged to function properly as the charge has reached less than 60 percent.
