If your Honda Pilot has a 2 inch receiver hitch we have a Trailer Hitch Mounted Scooter / Wheelchair Carrier for 2 inch Trailer Hitches, part # RHWC1, that has a lightweight composite fiberglass platform and weighs a total of 105 lbs and can hold up to 400 lbs.
If you have a 1-1/4 hitch you will need a Trailer Hitch Mounted Scooter / Wheel Chair Carrier for 1-1/4 inch Trailer Hitches, part # RHWC1114, that also has a composite fiberglass platform that weighs 90 lbs and can hold up to a 230 lb scooter.
Both of these carriers use a jack that can raise or lower the loading platform to make loading and unloading easy and safe.
A way to really make things easier for you would be to purchase a Buffalo Tools Mover's Dolly - 30 inches Long x 18 inches Wide - 600 lbs, part # BTTRDOLLY. What you could do is set either one of these scooter carriers on this dolly, roll the carrier on the dolly to the back of your Pilot and operate the jack on the carrier to raise or lower until the receiver and shank line up and then slide the carrier in. This way you would not have to physically lift the weight of the carrier when you wanted to remove or install it.
