I have a 2009 Hionda Ridgeline that came std with the towing package that states it has a tranny cooler. Is yours different or better or suggested?

Vehicles come with some type of transmission cooler from the factory. The tow package on your 2009 Honda Ridgeline may include an upgraded version of the factory transmission cooler. Whether or not an aftermarket transmission cooler is needed depends largely on how much weight you will be towing and how often you plan to tow. Transmission fluid can not be overcooled but in the winter it will need longer to warm up if you add an aftermarket cooler that works in line with your current system.
If you decide to add a supplemental transmission cooler, I recommend a smaller capacity model like # D12902. In this case, you would have the factory system run to the Derale Transmission Cooler, # D12902, and then to the transmission. The pump would still work as it normally would, there would just be a little more fluid in the system.
