Can Small Kids Bikes be Used on the Softride Dura Parallelogram Hitch Moutned Bike Rack

Question:

I am considering buying the softride dura tilting hitch bike rack 4 bikes SR26247. The perceived problem is that my kids bikes are rather small and I dont know for sure if they will fit. One has a 12 distance between the seat bar and the steering bar, and the other is only 11.5 distance. Will they fit on this rack, and/or what options do I have? Thank you for any help you might be able to offer.

The outside width measurement for the arms on the Softride Dura is about 8-3/4 inches. They make the arms fairly narrow so that small children bikes can be hung properly. If you do not already have some, adapter bars may worth taking a look at to hold the bikes level.
