For your 2010 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch, # 11315, that you have referenced, because it has a slightly lower install difficulty than the other available hitches. We base install difficulty on how long it takes to install a hitch and the Curt hitch is a 5 out of 10. This means for a novice it should take about 50 minutes to install the hitch.

This is a Class I trailer hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening capable of 200 pounds tongue weight capacity and 2,000 pounds gross trailer weight. This hitch comes with the recommended drawbar.

If you plan on doing some towing, to complete your towing set up, you would just need to add a hitch ball and wiring.
