Adapter to Use a Reese 5th Wheel Slider Hitch with Under Bed Mount Kit on a 2010 Ford F-350
Question:
I have a 2010 Ford F350 dually with the factory-installed underbed rails for a 5th wheel hitch. I have a chance to buy a very gently used Reese 16K four way swivel sliding hitch. Will this hitch attach easily to my truck, or will I need an adaptor kit?

The factory 5th wheel prep package was not available until the 2011 model year of Ford trucks. In a 2010 model it would be aftermarket or possibly dealer installed. There are several companies that make under bed mount kits. If the 4 pucks form a rectangle then it is likely a Reese kit but if the rear two are more towards the inside of the bed then the front two then it is a Pullrite kit and we won't have anything for it.
It could also be a Demco under bed kit which would be in a rectangle pattern but the holes for the hitch would be smaller than the pucks in the Reese system.
If it is a Reese system then to use the Reese slider 5th wheel trailer hitch in your 2010 Ford F-350 with the factory prep package I recommend adapter # RP30156. This adapter fits directly into the prep package pucks and the hitch will attach to the adapter. I have linked a video review of the adapter for you.
