Question:
where does the swaycontrol ball and plate attached to the trailer. Is there a specific measurement? from what point?

Expert Reply:
On the Reese Ball-Plate Assembly for Friction Sway-Control System, part # RP58062, the center of the ball on the trailer plate should be 24 inches from the center of the coupler ball. This can vary a bit depending on bar model and where the drawbar/WD head side ball sits.
I have added a link to the instructions for the Pro Series bar, part # 83660 that has some very helpful diagrams and measurements.
