What Radiator Fan Assembly and Dual Filter Oil Kit will Work with a 2006 Toyota Tundra

Question:

I am planning to replace my stock radiator and steel fan with a lighter weight radiator and dual-if possible-fans. My vehicle is a 2006 toyota tundra access cab model. It has a 4.0 6 cylinder engine with manual 6speed transmission. If this fan set up wont work can you suggest something that will?? also will you recommend a location for purchasing an adapter to put two oil filters on the engine?? I would like to protect the truck but not mess it up. Any help would be nice. Thank you

The Derale electric fan assemblies are universal fit items. They are not vehicle specific, you would just need to measure your new radiator to see if it will accommodate this fan assembly. The assembly you were looking at measures 31-3/4 inches wide, 15-5/8 inches tall and 1-3/4 inches deep. Measure your new radiator to see if it will accommodate this assembly. If you do not think it will fit, write back with the measurements and I can see if I can help you find a solution.

We do have a complete dual-filter relocation kit, part # D15749 from Derale. It includes a spin-on adapter that would attach to your current filter port and provide inlet/outlet fittings. From the adapter, the oil would flow through the included hose to a dual-filter mount that you can mount in an easy to access location. The oil would flow through the mount and the two filters, then back to the spin on adapter and into the engine.
