Will The Strap Hooks On Yakima QuickBack 2 Bike Rack, # Y02621, Work On A 2000 Cadillac Seville STS

Does the hooks that attach to the side of the trunk have shanks long enough to allow this carrier to fit the trunk with built in taillight assembly on a 2000 Cadillac Seville STS???

For your 2000 Cadillac Seville STS, the Yakima QuickBack 2 Bike Rack, # Y02621 will work on your trunk with the built in taillight assembly. They have a footnote on your vehicle about having to use the included Glass Hatch Hook Accessory in place of the lower strap hooks.

The Yakima Glass Hatch Hook Adapter, # Y02612, does not have a hook on it that attaches to the edge of the trunk. One end will attach to the bike rack and the other end has a rod with two cushions on each end of the rod. So you would open the trunk and put the end with the rod on it into the trunk and close the trunk. Then, when the strap is tightened, the rod with the cushions will be in the trunk and tighten up against the trunk.

The Glass Hatch Hook Adapter does come with the QuickBack 2 bike rack.
