Installation Instructions and Helpful Videos for Wiring and Hitch Installation on a 2001 Jetta Wagon

The Curt Class I Hitch, Item # 11083, is designed to fit the 2001 Volkswagen Jetta Wagon. At this time we have not had the opportunity to do a video installation on this vehicle so we do not have a video to send you. We do have a video install of a hitch on a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta which is similar but not exactly the same. I have also included instructions for the Jetta Wagon Hitch.

The wiring Kit for the Jetta Wagon is the # 119176KIT and we have a video installation of this kit on a 2002 Honda Civic that should be very helpful. When installing the wiring you will need to use the circuit tester, included in the kit, to identify the right turn, left turn, brake and tail light circuits, and then attach the appropriate wires from the wiring harness to each.
