How Thick is the PR4 Leaf Spring Spring Pack and Will the 2-3/8 inch Round Trailer U-Bolts Work

I went out to the warehouse and measured one of the # PR4 Double Eye Leaf Springs and the related parts that we carry. The spring pack is 1-9/16 inch thick, not including the centering bolt and nut. Each layer is approximately 3/8 inch thick.

The 2-3/8 inch Round Trailer U-Bolts (Qty 2), item # SP01-040, are 5-1/2 inches long. The total thickness of axle, 2-3/8 inches and spring pack will be right at 3 inches.

You will need to add the thickness of the spring seat, our spring seat # TRSS300, is 9/16 inches thick at the center of the cutout for the axle.

You will also need to add the thickness of the U-bolt plate, our U-bolt plate, item # TRTP238175, is 3/16 inches thick.

With all of our parts and a 2-3/8 inch diameter axle the total would be about 3-3/4 inches so the 5-1/2 inch U-bolts, item # SP01-040, should work nicely.
