Question:
I am installing a Draw-tite Activator into my 2010 F-150. The truck came with a brake controller wiring kit plug on one end for dash connect and 4 wires. I need to know how to match the black/blue/red/white wire from brake controller to the blue/green/red/white wires in the supplied f-150 connector

You can use part # 20272 from Tow Ready. You will splice it to the loose leads on the controller, color for color, and you can then plug it into your F-150 harness. That way you do not have to cut off the factory connector.
If you have already cut it off or want to hardwire the controller the color code could be as follows:
Truck Controller
Red Black
Green Red
White White
Blue Blue
Ford had quit using the green wire and instead had a pink. They may have gone back to the old code, but I would not know why. The best thing to do is use a circuit tester to test the wires on your truck. Whichever wire has power all the time will go to black on controller. Which ever has power only when pedal is pressed will go to the red wire on controller. Ford has always done white for ground and blue for brake output just like on the controllers. I would just use a circuit tester to check the red and green wires on the truck.
