Question:
Will the transmission capability reach the monitor in the pick up through an aluminum 25 ft 5th wheel if the camera is mounted to the middle of the back of the 5th wheel about 2 ft above the hitch pointing toward a trailer that is being towed?

The Master Lock Wireless Backup Camera and Hitch Alignment System, item # 4843DAT, has a range of 125 feet plus. The range will be diminished by items in the path of the transmitter and receiver but it should work, in the distance that you are suggesting, very well.
The 48 inch Car and Trailer End Loop 4-Pole, item # 18044, would be a good choice for mounting the camera in the position you are talking about if the camera does not have a long enough wiring harness connected to it.
